Plitvice Lakes National Park – The outstanding park, the most visited one in Croatia, is the only natural value listed on the UNESCO world heritage list. It was declared in 1979, one of the first in the world. The Park is a part of the Dinara karst area which is characterized by carbonate bedrock, numerous karst forms and the rare occurrence of surface flows. The vast amount of water and lake creation in such areas is unique and a precious appearance.

Rastoke Millers Village – a result of a game that nature played for hundreds of years on the river Slunjčica. The green and blue waters of the river converted into many fizzling waterfalls like Hrvoje, Buk and Vilina kosa (Fairy’s hair). Rastoke is actually a great nature’s introduction to the Plitvice Lakes National park. They are special because they were used by a human hand and converted into a settlement with small mills. Nature and people again created a harmony. That is the main reason why Rastoke are also protected by the regional institute for protection of cultural monuments.

The Caves of Barac – a museum of the oldest artist in the world – nature. A work of nature formed throughout millions of years. The water gave us this pearl of the underworld. The passages through the halls and corridors, from the Guano Hall through the Elephant Foots Hall, is full of speleothems and high pillars. Discover the Dragons George and the Hall of Lost Souls which hide a part of an ancient history and enjoy the beauty of the absolute darkness.
